The Capri, which is very similar in appearance and performance to the famous Lido 14, was specially designed to be used as a rental sailboat. The hull has been reinforced and the mast and rigging are extra-strong.
The large, open cockpitr comfortably seats six on contour flotation seats. A fixed iron keel makes the boat self-righting and exceptionally stable.
The Capri 14 is nearly identical to the Lido 14 with one exception, the keel on the Capri 14 is solid making it a comfortable boat for the non-racing minded sailor.
As of May 2002, 258 Capri 14's have been made.
