Sabot - Naples Owners & Want-a-bies!

Sabot - Naples

The Sabot comes in two types called the Naples and the US. The US uses a centerboard and the Naples comes with a leeboard. The Sabot line of boats are mainly found in Southern Californis. In addition the Naples comes in two models, the Club and the Turbo. Where the "Sabot - Naples - Club" is very basic and plain, the "Sabot - Naples - Turbo" is well rigged.

Use of sandwich construction (fiberglass, foam, fiberglass) makes the Sabot extremely rigid and virtually impossible to sink.

Its self-rescuing and self-bailing characteristics make it unquestionably safe. It is perfect for the beginning sailor as well as the most competitive Sabot racing skipper, whether adult or child, and is also a great yacht tender because it is stable and easy to row or equip with a small outboard motor.
